What if we could see back billions of years to the beginning of life on earth?
What if we could see the first attempts at multicellularity?
Would it look like us?
Would there be power struggles, domination, some critter’s excretion being poison to their fellow critter?
At what point would they begin to get it right, coral, lichen, chloroplasts taking up residence in a proper cell, mitochondria passed from your mother to every cell in your body?
The quiet collaboration of our liver and kidneys and heart and skin and brain?
What if we could see the beginning of human society?
