Multi-Hued Humanity Meditates on

The Balance of Black and White

Sacred Black,

dark heart of womb and soil

where all of life first takes its form,

how have You been made the stench

of evil and subservience

rumor of contamination

degraded by small minds

bent on domination

But portal to a larger truth

mind unshackled leads us past

the weary scuffles for title and food

Quiet as a seed we glimpse

majestic Black and White,

heedless of our judgement

embrace our world

in their vast eternal dance
